That's my question...

Who do you write for?
I write for me.

So I'm a year older today..

Wed Jan 4, 2006, 4:29 AM
So... First off...

It's my birthday today. Hold the applause. I turn 29. I've all but forgot my side lives and hobbies (Thank you Jobby Bunny :D)...

But... this makes my day. =stoofovski made me a special birthday card :P (You have to click on it to see).

I think I need to start coming back to DA. It's been some time and gosh I've been slacking ><.

That's what I'll do for this year... get back to my roots....

So Here I am! Welcome back! I'm back in the saddle. (more to come).

Why we should help the elderly...

Fri Aug 26, 2005, 5:02 AM
It's kind of lame to put this stuff online but I thought it was funny as hell...

Bless the elderly....

This letter was sent to the principal's office after an elementary
school had sponsored a luncheon for the elderly. An old lady had
received a new radio at the lunch as a door prize, and was writing to
say thank you. This story is a credit to all human kind. Forward to anyone
you know who might need a lift today!

Dear Faculty and Students:

God bless you for the beautiful radio I won at your
recent senior citizens' luncheon. I am 84 years old and live at an
Assisted Home for the Aged. All of my family has passed away. I am all
alone now and it's nice to know someone is thinking of me. God bless you
for your kindness to an old forgotten lady.
My roommate is 95 and always had her own radio. Before I received
this one, she would never let me listen to hers, even when she was
napping. The other day, her radio fell off the night stand and broke
into a lot of little pieces. It was awful and she was in tears. She
asked if she could listen to mine, and I said fuck you. Thank you for
that opportunity.

Sincerely,

Agnes

I've been such a limerick

Wed Aug 10, 2005, 6:22 PM
Well... I just tossed this out of my head:

I was just throwing this out of my head as a response to Cherry Red

It's not.... really what one would expect but it seemed to epitomize the notion of male insensitivity. Even the topic is tentative.
Well... Whatever. Here it is without edit or review. Just tell me what you think. Honestly.

Losing the Fight

"What hurts more than losing you;
is knowing that you're not fighting to keep me"

Rang through my ears as I walked out the door.
My last image of her; sprawled on the floor

What she didn't understand
impulsively; didn't translate well from my hand

Two things in my head
1. Inside; I'm already dead

2. I've been a dick
Seeking salvation within a limerick
